Now that a Special Investigations Unit has been established in the Washington State Insurance Commissioner’s Office, that unit has become fully staffed and is currently conducting criminal investigations.

A report of the unit’s activities and prosecution was recently provided by the director of the unit, Robert Veliz,  to the members attending the recent annual training conference.
